Hey, I’m Jamie!

I’ve had the joy of dogs in my life since the day I was born, and for the last 10 years, I’ve shared my home with Great Danes, so I’m pretty much immune to fur, slobber, or any of the quirky things our dogs do. 

I have long believed that dogs are more than companions — they are keepers of our secrets, witnesses to our quietest moments, and mirrors to our truest selves. They do not ask us to be anything but exactly who we are, and in return, they offer something rare and wondrous: unconditional, uncomplicated love.

To me, dogs are precious souls — each one an individual story wrapped in fur and warmth and watchful eyes. Photographing them is not simply about capturing how they look; it’s about honoring who they are.

Their quirks. Their loyalty. Their nobility. Their magic.

I’ve also lost many dogs over the years, and it’s through those losses that I’ve really come to understand how important it is to capture that deep bond we share with our pets.

When my last dog Soli passed, I found a lot of comfort in the portraits I had of her. It wasn’t just the photos themselves—it was the way those images captured her unique spirit, her little quirks, and the connection we had. Every time I looked at those portraits, it felt like a piece of her was still here, reminding me of her goofy expressions, her soulful eyes, and the way she made me laugh every day. 

It was a gift I never knew I needed until I didn’t have her anymore.

That’s why I’m so passionate about what I do—because I want to give you something that will last beyond the moment, something that honours the deep love and connection you have with your dog. 

Every dog is so unique, and I take the time to really capture their personality—the little things that make them who they are. Whether they’re your calm companion or your crazy sidekick, I’ll make sure the portraits we create reflect the heart and soul of your dog, so you can hold on to those memories long after the paw prints have faded.
