With advanced editing skills and a deep sensitivity to character, Jamie crafts each final image with care and intention. A serious old gentleman might be posed among worn books and rich textures; a gentle lady framed in soft light, draped pearls, and timeless elegance; an energetic young pup captured mid-pounce or surrounded by playful elements that echo their spirit. Want to focus solely on your pup’s features and expression? A classic white background with clean design can look spectacular with our attention to fine detail.
Every detail — from posture and props to palette and background — is chosen to honour who they are and where their portrait will live.
Each session begins with your dog, but it ends with art: soulful, tailored, and created to be seen, felt, and cherished.

You will be invited back to our studio for a personalized viewing session. Here, we’ll review the images together and guide you through the selection process. You’ll be able to see the portraits in full size and explore how they will look in your home’s space.

Once your custom wall art has been carefully created, it will be delivered and ready to display in your home!

Each session is thoughtfully crafted to produce a small, curated selection of fine art portraits — not a volume of digital files, but a handful of heirloom-worthy images that hold meaning and presence. Every photograph is carefully refined through artful editing to become a finished piece of wall art — a portrait that not only captures your dog, but also the natural beauty that surrounds them. Step By Step
Homeward Bound - Session Fee $99 - Redeemable
Homeward Bound sessions are tender and unhurried, created for dogs in their twilight — those slowing down, or nearing the end of their time with you.
These sessions can take place in my studio, outdoors in a familiar setting, or in the comfort of your own home, depending on your dog’s mobility and what feels most gentle for them.
Sessions can often be made available at short notice, and I encourage you not to wait if your dog is ageing or unwell. These portraits often become some of the most treasured — lasting reminders of love, loyalty, and a life well lived.
Some clients worry it will be too hard — and sometimes it is. But others find the experience to be quietly joyful. A way to truly see their dog again, to celebrate their presence, their personality, and the love that never fades.
Whether you join me to view the images, or prefer I choose on your behalf, the result is the same: a timeless, heartfelt tribute to your dearest friend.

Contact me as soon as possible to discuss your dog’s situation. We’ll talk about their needs, mobility, and temperament, and choose a location that will be most comfortable for them — whether that’s my studio, an outdoor space, or your own home.

Your session will be calm, gentle, and completely guided by your dog’s comfort. There’s no rush and no pressure — just time set aside to quietly honour the bond you share, with kindness and care at every step.

A few days after your session, we’ll arrange a time for your viewing appointment. If your dog has since passed, please know this part of the process is handled with great sensitivity. Some clients choose to have me gently curate and select the most meaningful images on their behalf. Others find it healing and beautiful to sit with the images — to see their best friend again in all their familiar expressions, quirks, and quiet dignity. There is no right or wrong way to do this. I’ll walk you through each option with care and ensure the process feels as easy and supported as possible.
